Areas to make learning worthwhile

Playful learning and enjoying every minute, that is what we, at Foster Kids preschools aim to gift to our lovely kids. We firmly believe in stimulating the child’s imagination by providing them opportunities to grow and develop while reading, writing listening in a playful manner. Apart from this, discovering are technique remain the same as discussed earlier. Let us tell you about our various discovery areas for kids.

School & Sensory Area

In this area, we help the child with hands-on exploration activities where they learn about basic science concepts using simple materials and experiments.

Dramatic Play Area

Here, children explore language and social skills by playing and cooperating it with each other and imitating characters from their daily lives using their vivid imagination.

Blocks & Manipulation Area

Toddlers develop fine motor skills and coordination by Sorting, grouping and balancing blocks. These activities also develop their creative thinking and problem solving abilities, besides developing a strong conceptual foundation through hands-on learning experiences.

Creative Arts Area

Kids let their imagination fly free and express themselves imaginatively. This helps them build skills and indulge in confidence building using tools and materials readily available in this discovery area.

Painting & Collage

This area has been designed to bring your child’s creative talents to the forefront. It is the canvas on which your child is free to express their imagination, putting it on paper with sketch pens, color pencils and paint, and in the process develops sharp eye-hand coordination, fine motor coordination and writing readiness.

Clay Art & Modelling

It is here that our belief in the “touch, explore, learn and enjoy” approach of learning is put into practice. Kids are given clay and facilitated to bring their imagination to life using the art of modeling. Further, it also helps children become more expressive, as they generally love to speak about anything they create.

Project Work

In line with our ideology of Learning by Doing, we give our budding talent some projects based on their competencies. This may include composing and singing songs, reading out stories, talking about field trips and live demonstrations. Such first-hand experience encourages lateral thinking and boosts confidence amongst kids.

Reading & Writing

Listening, speaking, reading and writing together constitute the most basic and important part of a child’s learning process. At Fostering Kid (LKG/KG-I) & Fostering Younger (UKG/KG-II), we ensure that your child develops a strong base in reading and writing. After all, it is the very foundation on which the tall tower of knowledge will stand for a lifetime.

Math Corner

Math is an integral part for any curriculum. Basic Math concepts are taught in an indulging manner. Simple calculations are combined with a variety of fun experiences from which the child learns to distinguish, classify and observe similarities and differences in the world around them.

360 Degree Assessment System

There are quarterly assessments conducted at Foster Kids on the basis of the syllabus that has been taught in that particular quarter. The assessment aims to judge the child’s ability to show to what extent they have been able to grasp through the sessions conducted.
